Ben's 5th Birthday Party

I don't even know how to express my sadness/gladness/crazy emotionalness (is that a word?) about my first born turning 5?! We always celebrate earlier than the 4th of July b/c everyone is out of town, so this year Ben wanted a rocket themed birthday party. I always get so nervous that it is going to rain, but after much prayer it did not! YAY! It was nice and HOT for this special boy's party. We had a Star Wars bounce house, water balloons, snow cone machine, popcorn machine and of course the pool! Here are a few pictures from Ben's blast off party...there were NO GIRLS allowed, per Ben's request:)

Near impossible to get a group shot of fifteen 5 year olds!
The rocket pinata did NOT want to open!
 Complete with rocket ship cake.
 Such big boys!
 Mid jump
 Yes, he's 5!!!
Had to show off my decor!
 Loving brothers.
 Bounce house is a MUST!
Andy had to man these machines, he was not a great snow cone maker :/

Fun Times in the Summer

Ben and Sam were in their first baseball league and they loved it! It was called intro to baseball.
At the end of the "season" they all received trophies which was the best part!
Ben didn't understand why everyone got a trophy.
They had a great time though.
My future major league players. (probably not!)
Amidst the birth of Duke and baseball and the end of school Sam had swim lessons.
 He was the only boy.
He loves to dive, but most of the time it is belly flops!
 So cute!

Introducing Duke Part II

Duke's cousin, Teeta, and great aunt, Yoyi, arrived minutes after Duke was born!
Gammy was in the delivery room and Ogie was right outside waiting.
Proud big brothers Ben and Sam came the day after Duke arrived. They were so eager to meet their new brother!
I can't believe we were worried about Sam's reaction to Duke. He is in love!!!
Mimi and Pops came 6 days after Duke was born and Pops was completely taken by his little man!
Mimi teaching Sam how to feed Duke. She now has 6 grandsons!!!
Duke would not be a Forbes if he did not go Houston's w/in the first 2 weeks of his life.
The proud grandparents!
