Ben's Last Day of School

Yesterday, was Ben's last day of school. It was bittersweet. We LOVED Ms. Pilar, she was so good to Ben. She even let him take home a special tractor he always played with at school. Since Ben's birthday is in the summer I had cookies made and took them to school to celebrate his birthday.

Next year Ben will be going to pre-school at Pinewood Acres where I have a JOB! I will actually be Ben's teacher. It will be strange, but the school is such a blessing, as is the job. God really had me trusting Him and he provided as only He can!

Breakfast with the Characters

Tuesday was breakfast with the characters. From what I understand the kids had a great time. (I was sick in bed) Ben apparently wasn't that impressed with the characters so much as liked the food. (Yes he is a Hernandez) Sam thought it was cool, but didn't know what to think.

Magic Kingdom

Our day at Magic Kingdom was filled with LOTS of activity. Ben rode his first "roller coaster" with Daddy, and Sam rode the tea cups and laughed the whole time!!! It was magical and even more so that we were able to share it with Mimi, Kiki, Will and Uncle Bill.

As you can also see from the pictures Sam was worn out! We were waiting in line for the Monster's Inc. show and he slept the whole time. Andy and I thought for sure the kids would pass out when we got back to the condo, but no, they wanted to stay up til 11:00pm with their Mimi. In fact, the entire trip the boys stayed awake until 11:00pm and woke up at 7:00am. (On top of that Ben only took a nap 2 days, and one of those days he was sick!)

Disney Vacation!

For those of you who don't know, we just returned from our first family Disney vacation! The boys, Andy and I went with Marsha, Kelli, Bill and Will. We had such a great time! Here are a few pictures to share from our first day there and the first moments in Magic Kingdom. Unfortunately, pictures from the first days are missing because I left my camera at a bus stop:( Even though all of our memories were not captured on film, we will have them in our hearts for years to come.

Ben's favorite memories are of us riding in the shuttle from the resort to the parks, and also riding the ferry to downtown Disney. We could have saved a lot of money!
