Breakfast with the Characters

Tuesday was breakfast with the characters. From what I understand the kids had a great time. (I was sick in bed) Ben apparently wasn't that impressed with the characters so much as liked the food. (Yes he is a Hernandez) Sam thought it was cool, but didn't know what to think.

I am sad I never got a family picture with us and Mickey:(

Magic Kingdom

Our day at Magic Kingdom was filled with LOTS of activity. Ben rode his first "roller coaster" with Daddy, and Sam rode the tea cups and laughed the whole time!!! It was magical and even more so that we were able to share it with Mimi, Kiki, Will and Uncle Bill.

As you can also see from the pictures Sam was worn out! We were waiting in line for the Monster's Inc. show and he slept the whole time. Andy and I thought for sure the kids would pass out when we got back to the condo, but no, they wanted to stay up til 11:00pm with their Mimi. In fact, the entire trip the boys stayed awake until 11:00pm and woke up at 7:00am. (On top of that Ben only took a nap 2 days, and one of those days he was sick!)

Disney Vacation!

For those of you who don't know, we just returned from our first family Disney vacation! The boys, Andy and I went with Marsha, Kelli, Bill and Will. We had such a great time! Here are a few pictures to share from our first day there and the first moments in Magic Kingdom. Unfortunately, pictures from the first days are missing because I left my camera at a bus stop:( Even though all of our memories were not captured on film, we will have them in our hearts for years to come.

Ben's favorite memories are of us riding in the shuttle from the resort to the parks, and also riding the ferry to downtown Disney. We could have saved a lot of money!

Andy the Pro

Daddy passed his 2nd round of his PGA tests! We are so proud of Andy! In order to complete the PGA program you have to turn in book work, take 3 rounds of written tests, and pass a physical golf test. PRAISE God, Andy passed his second round, and now he has one more set of book work and one more round of tests and then he is officially a "Class A".

In this picture you will see a beautiful new club house behind Andy and Sam, and that is Andy's NEWLY constructed club house for Normandy. Andy single handily moved them out of the old club house in to this one, working nearly 90+ hours a week! On top of that, he would come home and study for his PGA test. We are so proud of him! Keep up the good work Daddy.

Easter Sunday

On Easter Sunday Andy FINALLY had a day off and we all went to church as a family. Of course, Sam was teething and did not crack a smile that day, poor baby. He got 4 teeth in 2 weeks! The Easter bunny was good to both the boys, but while opening their baskets Sam threw-up. So no pictures of their baskets.

Sam's 1st Birthday

Sam's 1st birthday March 31st, fell on a Wednesday this year, so we decided to surprise my dad for lunch at the hospital. (In case you didn't know, Sam and my dad share the same birthday) He was very surprised, and enjoyed showing off his grandchildren. That evening Andy and I took the boys to Cold Stone to celebrate Sam's real birthday.

Then, on Saturday we had a small family party for Sam. (Plus the Williamson's of course) It was so special to share this joyous occasion with them. Wish the Forbes clan could have been here.

Boys on the Farm

Kristi and I took our boys to the "farm" here in Miami, if you can believe that. They have chickens, horses, turtles, goats, lambs, I was impressed! I got Ben to get on the pony, but he refused to ride w/a helmet, so he could not ride Rocky. Next year Kristi and I are thinking about doing the boys' party there. (I know my Texas friends, it is not a real farm)
